Cleansing and Clearing up
There it is, right at home with the rest of my bathroom products, didn't I tell you it was cute!
My LUNA mini is pocket sized and the charge last for ages! so it's so practical to carry around if need be. This weekend I took it with me to my boyfriend's so I could continue my morning and evening regime. I'm using it with the gel cleanser next to it, Neutrogena pore & shine. Which by the way smells gorgeous, tangerine and lime beats their cucumber, and pink grapefruit versions hands down.
My 5 day verdict
Your supposed to see a difference in 3 days, and believe me I did! Those pesky spots around the top of my t-zone that dogged my eyebrows and the top of my nose? Gone! Usually when I get my eyebrows threaded I get a crazy spots around the area they've got rid of the hair especially at the top of my nose, they tend to stay for weeks. Using the Luna mini they were gone by the third day.
Every time I use it my face feels firmer as well as nice and clean, and it feels much better than using the daily scrub.
My face is still in the process of clearing up, I actually had a bit of a break out on Sunday. That though I blame firmly on cats (I'm pretty allergic, and had to spend a 3-4 hours in the same house as three of them). The bigger spots though are shrinking and you can't really see them anymore, the only way to tell they are there is to run your finger over them.
The best thing is as I never wear make-up, people can immediately tell the difference, I've had a lot of comments about how much brighter and healthier my skin is looking. I had a stonking great headache the other day and mentioned it to a friend, and she complained that I didn't look it because my skin was so fresh and bright looking.
I'll take an updated picture of my face, and post it next week so you can see what I mean.
I'm thinking of putting up post about my natural hair journey, or just my hair care in general, so stay tuned!

Bzzzzzzzz.... Bare Faces & Blemishes

I've been Part of Bzzagent for quite sometime now, but this is my first campaign. My skin has been in a bit of an upheaval lately and I've been breaking out alot. So when a message came through about trying the FOREO LUNA mini I jumped on it.
This is me, currently I've got crazy spots around the top of my T-Zone and around my cheeks. You can't really see it all in the picture which I guess I'm grateful for but because I rarely wear make up (due to time, effort, and it makes me break out) having clear skin is practically a must. I'm hoping that the LUNA Mini will combat the spots and clear up my skin. I've never actually tried facial cleansing brushes before but it looked like a really great idea especially as I got it at a discount through Bzz Agent. If it works, out I'm definitely going to recommend it to everyone I know especially my brother, who also has some spot trouble.
My usual face washing routine is usually a daily wash in the shower using Neutrogena Visibly clear pore & shine daily scrub. I have previously used their other facial scrubs and also occasionally use their 3 in 1 wash and mask. They've been the best brand of products for my skin, so in terms of a cleanser to use with the Luna I'll be sticking with them.
Oh and bonus it's totally cute and very portable.
What do you usually use for your facial cleansing regimes? Have you ever tried using cleansing brushes? Let me know!

New Challenge
Now that I don't have a gym membership and i'm bored of working out at home i've decided to challenge myself to one of Cassey of Blogilates.com's meal plan's and work outs.
My friend Harriet has also agreed to do this with me to keep ourselves motivated. We are going to be skyping our workouts so that we make sure to do them everyday and next week we've secured a 4 day membership at fitness first.
We're going to be doing her lean out mini meal for 2 weeks with some changes to suit my dietary requirement i.e Allergy to eggs and bananas. I will also be drinking only water about 3-4 l a day if i can manage it.
Meal 6 - Greek yoghurt and 2 tsp of local honey (for my hayfever)
I will try and update you guys on how it's working out.
Anyone challenged themselves to something recently?

Health and Exercise
I struggle with my health and weight, and I've been doing so for the 20 years I've been alive.
It seems every time I get to a certain level of fitness, or a happy weight, something comes along and throw that on it's head. Be it a bad breakup, a sports injury, or just loss of will power.
Recently it has been a recurrence of a debilitating knee problem with my other knee, it landed me on crutches for 3-4 months, and 6-7 months later it still isn't back to 100%. At first I was told I'd need an operation on my knee to correct the alignment and tidy up the damage, though I would need to do a lot of physio before I could even think about taking that option. So with that in mind I pushed myself to go to the gym 3 times a week to do my physio and light physio every other day, I was motivated like crazy. Then I got a second opinion, and was told that actually there was no quick fix to my knee, the pain would likely be something I would live with for the rest of my life, in fact if they went ahead and did the operation, it could very likely make the pain worse!
This was a huge shock, I'd just had the rug pulled out from under me and I almost let myself spiral back down. Then went through the doctor's letter to my doctor. He said that I needed to continue with physio, I needed to concentrate on loosing weight and reducing the pressure on my knees. He called me heavy set. It was then that I realised, I needed to continue down the path that I was on. Pushing myself harder to get to where I need to be in the hopes that I can enjoy all the things I loved to do, like dancing, even the things i didn't actually like but took for granted I could do like running.
So here I am striving to be healthier, loose weight and be able to paint the town red in my own way again. Though I'm striving so hard and continuing to work out and eat better, I get frustrated that I'm not where i want to be yet. I seem to have lost sight of the fact that actually since February I have lost 2 stone, 2 dress sizes and a whole lot of inches. Last year I bought myself some Zaggora Hotpants in a large and also a medium, I could even dream of fitting into the medium until April- May time this year. I also invested in some Zaggora Flares (Love) in a medium.
I need to work hard and continue yes, but I also need to take time to pat myself on the back and tell myself that I'm doing well, and I need to look back at my interim goals and see how well i smashed them :)
So tell me have you ever lost sight of how far you've come with your own goals? Have you ever tried hotpants?
If you haven't, get on that train! you'll love how much they enhance you workouts
